This cymbal stand is equipped with a number of unique new features. For instance, this stand features Tama's True-Sound Insulation Mute system. This mute is fitted into the top pipe of the stand, and makes your toms and cymbals sound better by preventing the stand from absorbing most, if not all, of their vibrations.

Tama HC103BW: innovative and user-friendly

Besides the True-Sound Insulation Mute, the Tama HC103BW has a few other innovative features. There is, for instance, the Orbital Quik Tite Cymbal Tilter that allows you to adjust the height and angle of the stand without having to adjust the height of length of the cymbal arm. The same Orbital Quick-Tite Tilter system has been applied to the boom arm joint. That means you only have to loosen one wing nut to adjust the angle, length and height of the boom arm. It is even possible to insert the boom arm into the base of the stand, essentially converting it into a straight cymbal stand. To enhance the sound of your cymbals, Tama chose to partially hollow out the cymbal felts, which minimises the contact between the felts and the cymbals, allowing the latter to resonate freely. Tama calls these felts the Ring-True cymbal felts. In short, the Tama HC103BW is a solid cymbal stand you can rely on.
